Why Is There a Service Fee Occurred? – Service of Process and Hague Service Convention Series (7)

Currently, service fees are only charged on requests coming from the U.S. and Canada on a reciprocal basis and at the equivalent amount. For the request from the U.S., the service fees are charged with the rate of 95.00 USD per recipient in China. For the request from Canada, the service fees are charged with the rate of 100.00 CAD per recipient in China. These fees should be paid by wire transfer according to the new rule of the Supreme People’s Court of China and the detailed payment information is as follows:
