World’s Largest Hydrogen-Powered Truck Export Deal Sealed in China

In a significant move for the green transportation industry, the world’s largest hydrogen-powered truck export deal was inked in the headquarters of Wisdom (Fujian) Motor Co., Ltd in Fujian, China. An agreement was signed to export 147 sanitation trucks to Australia.
The solemn ceremony saw Su Liqian, General Manager of Wisdom (Fujian) Automotive Co., Ltd, and Mr. Scott Brown, Chairman of Pure Hydrogen Corporation Ltd/Hydrogen International, come together to sign the deal, representing both sides.
This monumental agreement between Wisdom Motor and Pure Hydrogen Corporation Ltd/Hydrogen International serves as a crucial milestone in their partnership. It is set to enhance Wisdom Motor’s brand influence on the international stage. Since its inception, Wisdom Motor has consistently adhered to the application of new materials, technologies, and processes. Emphasizing green design, manufacturing, and transportation, the company’s hydrogen products have garnered recognition in overseas markets, including Japan, the UK, Germany, and Australia.
Expressing his faith in the partnership, Mr. Scott Brown said, “Wisdom Motor is a significant partner for us. As nations globally are striving to achieve carbon neutrality, the demand for green transportation is surging. We aim to carve a path of efficient, low-energy green manufacturing with Wisdom Motor.”
In late 2022, Wisdom Motor entered a 5-year agreement with Pure Hydrogen Corporation Ltd and Hydrogen International Ltd to deliver 12,000 hydrogen-fueled heavy-duty trucks. As of March this year, the first hydrogen-powered truck earmarked for Australia was successfully delivered and approved by the Australian clientele. The current sanitation truck deal, valued at RMB 450 million, is the most substantial order for hydrogen-powered heavy trucks in developed nations. Wisdom Motor plans to deliver all vehicles within this year.
The trucks destined for Australia come equipped with a hydrogen fuel system ranging from 110kw to 400kw, boasting a maximum range of 1,000 kilometers, making them apt for inter-city freight and long provincial routes. These trucks also feature Wisdom Motor’s distinctive carbon fiber body coverage technology, an integrated control system, and a unique “fluid sculpture” design methodology. Coupled with a 360° multi-sensor fusion sensing system, it epitomizes the perfect amalgamation of eco-friendly energy and smart transportation equipment.
